Storm Warriors II - *spoiler alert*

This movie feels kinda like a rushed job.

First of all, I noticed a number of 'famous' actor/actresses being used in this film.
However only two or so have enough lines to keep you awake.
The rest, repeat the words: "Brother Wind" , "Brother Cloud".

The most famous line of the entire movie is: "..."

They sure make Squall proud.

Best of all is the bad guy and his son. I came in late so i missed on the explanation on how he came about. Apparently, he's some Japanese invader...

*stunnnn* (O_o)"

I think they just threw him in there so Wind has a reason to turn bad. The guy was practically a punching bag which died early in the movie. His son (tse) lives on with the sole purpose of breaking the 'dragon bone' which strangely...is the backbone of some old king who rotted sitting upright.

I think what they were implying is the fact that chinese ppl are called the dragon's descendant and therefore the spine of the first emperor (first dragon??) was named such.

This so called dragon bone eventually gave Wind a 'plus 10 to all stats'.

I mentioned plagarism in the above. But since it's a new movie, it's kinda hard to find screenshots for comparison.

But if you will be watching it, see if you can find the following:

4. FF13 versus battle scene

But you know what, all in all...I stayed awake throughout and i think it's not that all bad. I personally think the wallpaper collection would be far more interesting than the movie itself. Really impressive Cg-ing and poses. Good for Wallpapers.

And I liked the Evil Whispering Wind (Ekin Cheng).

Today is the beginning of my new life...

I can hear the sound of doors being opened, things being moved and footsteps coming from the other side of this wall.

But my eyes remain shut as a heavy presence weighs me down.
I am both awake and asleep. Drifting between consciousness, I recalled many things. Most of which are memories of recent events.

I don't dream anymore lately as I don't sleep very well.
And it makes me a little sad...

I hear my phone alarm and it gets louder. Loud enough for annoyance to overcome the dreary feeling i had earlier.

Turn off? -YES- *beep*

I rest down my mobile and sat upright. I can hear again clearly, the sound of others going about on their everyday lives. As if their body fuels itself on just air.

What is it that they look forward to everyday?
What is their motivation?
It is really motivation that drives a person? Or is it something else?

I know mine clearly and yet...I still feel very lost at times.
In the presence of others, i try to keep up.
My world forces itself to move along with them.
But this only exhausts me further when I'm dealing with my own affairs.

When the attention is no longer with me, I drift off once again.
My smile fades and i gaze unfocused.

Around me is a multitude of people filled with warmth.
Be it their hearts or just their smiles.

And amidst them I stood...a lone figure, cold as stone.

Someday, I will live like them.
But until then, I will be envious of them...

It's one of those days again.

Some part within me has frozen over and I can't thaw it back.

And I don't think anyone else can either.

All I can do now is hope that someday, I can feel the warmth of the people and everyday things around me...once again.

There are girls out there who feel that they can get anything they want, including something that's not available for the taking, like your significant other. Here is a helpful way to keep those girls from ruining your relationship

Steps

1. Figure out if the girl is just being friendly, or if she's actually looking to wedge herself in between you two. You don't want to cause a scene if she's just trying to be nice.
2. Make sure your boyfriend isn't egging her on in any way. In fact, if he is shutting down the advances but the girl still persists, suggest that he move away from them at the bar, or stop hanging out with her.
3. If the girl persists in her shameless flirting, confront her. Tell her calmly but firmly, "I do not like you talking/acting like that around my boyfriend." Make sure she understands that her advances are not welcome now or ever.

I've found out recently that they've vocaloid-ed him.

Musician and actor Gackt lent his voice and stage name for the creation of Vocaloid, Gakupo Kamui (神威がくぽ Kamui Gakupo). Yamaha wanted to utilize the voice of a musician but felt it would be difficult to acquire cooperation. They consulted Dwango (new owner of Vocaloid publisher Internet Co. Ltd.), who suggested Gackt, as Gackt had previously provided his voice for Dwango's cell phone services.[1] Referred to alternately as Gakupoid or Gackpoid, the most recent release includes a new program, OPUS Express, for mixing vocal parts with accompaniment and phoneme data.[2] The new software will be available for download for users with registered copies of previous Vocaloids. Besides the new program, Gackpoid will include two of Gackt's songs and three example songs.[3]

The product was originally intended to be released in June 2008, but although Gackt existed as a model for the Vocaloid, it lacked an illustrated avatar to match the previous Vocaloids. Sometimes...it would be nice if my thoughts came out as words instead of tears.
Or if I could speak as well as I type. (is hyper online)

Years of experience has proven that I am quite incapable of getting angry at people who are close to me. When I argue, I always end up in tears (even though i'm right).

Don't be mistaken, I'm perfectly capable of scaring the hell out of salespersons who annoy me with bad services. But when it comes to people i know, I just either keep quiet(to avoid further conflict) or defend myself with sarcasm...or try arguing with wet cheeks.

It hurts to see those that I love so dearly getting upset. That's why i tend to just shut up and pray that the tense moment will just go away.

It's not like i can win a fight where my words are like a double-edged sword. They cut both you and me up. So my darlings, please don't torment me with this weakness. I really can't fight back fairly.

Speaking of sarcasm, most of my friends would know by now that I'm naturally sarcastic.
It comes naturally when i'm scared, annoyed or plain bored.
Confused yet? Well, it's like this...

I don't like people noticing that I'm sad or afraid or whatever. So i tend to drop sarcastic remarks to draw away the attention or to mislead them.
E.g.: "I am incapable of feeling pain unlike you oversensitive creatures..."

I did say that I rarely get angry but I do get annoyed pretty easily. Especially with inconsiderate people and trust me...this world does not lack those types. Sometimes i exhibit sarcasm by words and sometimes by actions. Here's an example of sarcasm by action:

During a dinner outing, inconsiderate person D was sitting amongst us. As we were having some indian food that night, our indian friends naturally used their hands to dine. D started saying things like, "Don't you think that eating with hands is dirty? Why do you indians do that? It's just so dirty...blahblahblah" to the indian girl next to him, who was ironically, using her hands. And he continued with the nonsense until MY order came.

So naturally sarcastic me, who was sitting in front of him, slowly and gracefully placed my cutlery down and...USED MY HANDS (chill guys, it was indian bread not rice).

This is pretty subtle. But i hope he got the hint. If he didn't, then the Big-Guy-Up-There must have been mass producing in the numbskull category.

Sarcasm when I'm bored...well, that's just me throwing in sarcastic jokes to lighten up the atmosphere and hopefully no one got offended. I mean, it's a joke guys...take a chill pill. (=__=)

There has been only 2 other ppl so far in my circle of friends who can understand and beat me at sarcasm. Hail to them brothers. I lost every single time in a battle of words. T_T

So, to conclude this very long post...to my dear friends, if I sometimes seem cold or act nonchalant, it's not because your affections are slipping through me...it's just that I don't know how to return them properly.

You will rarely see me cry, laugh out loud and you will almost always see me smile.

This is who I am, and I doubt I'll change much. It is a kind of pride that I was born with and grew to love. I am passionate about my ideals because it makes me different.

I will perhaps change as time goes by but do not expect an overnight transformation.

Change is good...but only when necessary. And I won't change just to keep up with majority's ideals.

Besides...

I'm more comfortable being prim and proper than letting loose like a wild goose.

We live by our own ideals. We are beings meant to be unique.

We've all heard the news about old folks being abandoned at nursing homes etc etc.
I find this particular write-in unique and true to the writer's feeling.

We have too many hypocrites in the current society.
Pointing fingers without a moment of hesitation and condemning people without hearing reason...

All this to make themselves feel 'virtuous' above others.
As Jesus once said, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."

I REFER to “Reluctant to add to kids’ burden” (The Star, July 29).
I just want to say that the writer is the kind of parent I would never abandon when he is old.

Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the one I have.
I was brought up in an average family. Although I never had many luxuries in life, I had all the basic necessities for survival.

Most people would say I am lucky compared with many other people. I never demanded any material things from my parents. All I asked for was love, respect and some self-sacrifice for the betterment of the next generation.

Instead, I would come back to incessant insults of my stupidity, psychological abuse and discouragement in life. My mother left my father and my stepmother is the same as my father. As they say, “birds of a feather, flock together”.

Now, I am a successful engineer with my own happy family and all the material things I need and want. I cannot be bothered to go back and visit, even though they live less than 10 minutes’ drive away.

I know there are irresponsible people who abandon their loving parents and these people are despicable. More often than not, I have seen that most old folks who have been abandoned have another side to the story.

Irresponsible men who abandoned the family and gambled their salaries away, and parents who abused their children, either physically, emotionally or mentally.

Let this be a warning to all parents. Do not think that providing a roof, food, clothing, mobile phone and a Playstation is enough. Sometimes, all a child needs is some love and attention even though their physical life is lacking.

A child will always forget that he was once hungry but will never forget that he never had a sweet childhood and love from his parents.

Now, I swear to my child that no matter how tired I am, I will always help with his lessons, play with him, love him, encourage him to be the best that he can be in life, and help him to the extent that I can afford to.

I swear to be a good father to my son, the kind of father that I never had. I will never force him or remind him to take care of me when I am old and whithered.

My child owes me nothing. He did not ask to be born into this world as my child. The burden shall never be on my child.

To all parents out there, it is time you realise this. Your child is not your insurance policy. It is your responsibility.

If my child takes me in when I am old, I would be grateful. Maybe then, I would have done something right in this world before I leave.

Fatal Frame 4 on Wii (Uwawawawa.....T_T)

Alright, after reading a friend's blog on ghosts...

I summed up some courage and checked up on the Fatal Frame series.
This is like, the worst ever i have experienced in gaming history.
And it was ironically, introduced to me by the most trusted person ever in recent years.
(I'm going to kill him for that...)

And so, with the help of a dear friend, we decided to go hunting for the scariest gameplay/trailer/cutscene of the game. Mind you, this we did at sometime after midnight.

Strange as it may sound, I was introduced to the Yokohama Ferris Wheel (Cosmo Clock 21) through the popular anime series Honey and Clover. It was featured in episode 19 of the 1st season.

Initially, i didn't have a clue on the whereabouts of this majestic piece. I didn't even know if it actually existed.

Then one day, i received an email containing some snapshots of Yokohama at night when the city seems to be engulfed in flames of bright neons. And among these pictures were a snapshot of a ferris wheel...

It was majestic on scale, the neons of billboards and surrounding buildings flicker humbly beside the alluring display of the ferris wheel. On full display, the sight is simply breathtaking.

The multiple patterns displayed by the ferris wheel makes one fall into a trance. It's like having the WMP/ winamp visualization being played ON A FERRIS WHEEL. \(*o*)/

I have always loved ferris wheels and how they carry you up slowly...higher and higher towards the clouds. And because each carriage is spaced WIDELY apart from one another, one is given a sense of privacy and personal space. <<- much needed in amusement parks filled with hyper-active kids

Someday in my future, I will look up at this creation in clear view...and be captivated. And then I'll dash towards the counter and buy myself a ride. V(^_^)

But you know...I have this little dream...this very small little dream of mine...

To be at this place, with...and hearing those words as the ferris wheel touches the midnight sky...
